Konavle Valley (Croatia)
A região de Konavle fica o sudoeste da Croácia, a cerca de 30 km da cidade de Dubrovnik.
Trata-se de um vale de solo rico, onde se desenvolve a agricultura. Possui três rios, entre eles o rio Ljuta, que desce das montanhas com pequenas cachoeiras. As montanhas que atingem cerca de 1.250 metros de altura dividem o país com a Bosnia I Hercegovina e com Montenegro, este mais ao sul.
A região é belíssima, porque, apesar da agricultura, ainda há muita vegetação, destacando-se os ciprestes, arvores cônicas verde escuro, que despontam aqui e ali no meio da mata verde clara, dando um contraste charmoso ao local
No dia 17-8-2011, tivemos (Antonio Silveira e Gianine Luiza) a oportunidade de conhecer esta exuberante região croata.
Saímos de Dubrovnik utilizando uma estrada que percorre grandes trechos do litoral do país com pequenas praias conhecida como “riviera croata”, que também é de grande beleza.
Toda a região de Konavle é considerada como cênica, que permite o turismo de observação, ramo turístico que vem crescendo em importância em todo o mundo.
Portanto, Konavle é um local a ser visitado e apreciado por sua grande beleza cênica. por Antonio Silveira.

The region is Konavle southwest of Croatia, about 30 km from the city of Dubrovnik.
It is a valley of rich soil, where agriculture is developed. It has three rivers, including the Ljuta River, which descends from the mountains with small waterfalls. The mountains that reach over 1,250 meters divide the country to Bosnia I Hercegovina and Montenegro at south.
The region is beautiful, because in spite of agriculture, there is still a lot of vegetation, especially the cypress trees, dark green conicaltrees that emerge here and there in the woods bright green, giving a charming contrast to the site
On 8/17/2011, we went (Antonio Silveira and Gianine Luiza) the opportunity to visit this beautiful region of Croatia.
We left Dubrovnik using a road that runs through large parts of the coast with sandy beaches known as the “Croatian Riviera”, which is also of great beauty.
The whole region of Konavle is considered scenic, which allows watching tourism, tourist industry that is growing in importance worldwide.
Therefore, Konavle is a place to be visited and appreciated for its great scenic beauty. by Antonio Silveira.
