International instruments for children protection

    1- Declaration of Geneva on the Rights of the Child (1924)
    2- Universal Declaration of Human Rights (ONU-1948)
    3- Declaration on the Rights of the Child (ONU-1959)
    4- Declaration on Relative the Social and Legal Principles to the Protection and Child’s Welfare (ONU-1986)
    5- Convention on the Children Rights (ONU-1989), ratified for Brazil in 24/9/90.
    6- World-wide Conference in favor of the Child (ONU-1990, NY.)
159 countries, 45 NGOs. and in 1996 already had 167 signatory countries.
    Document: World-wide declaration on the survival, protection, and development of the children and plan of action.
    7- Agenda 21, CAP 25.
    It considers the participation of youth in the questions of sustainable development, detaching:
- the promotion of the paper of youth and its active participation in the protection of the environment and the promotion of economic and social development;
- the child in the sustainable development.
