Because of its natural beauties, its enormous biodiversity and its organization, the ecological tourism is highly developed with the tourists’ flow from the entire world.
Beyond its biggest touristic attractions, around 110 volcanoes, being nine in activity.
The Volcanoes Arenal (1633 m/al), Irazú (3.432 m/al) and Poás (2.708 m/al) are irresistible attractions for specialists in volcanoes and common tourists also.
Tourism is its biggest income font, followed by coffee and banana cultivation, showing the importance of that activity.
