Definition and characteristics
    High Mountains Grasslands are flower formations situated in the higher parts of Brazilian East mountains, constituted mainly by brush and country species.
    They are in rock landscapes and start to be found from 1.200 meters.

    In these regions there is much endemism as from fauna and flora.
